181 Verkhovna Rada deputies received compensation from the state budget for housing rent in the third quarter of 2015. This was reported by the newspaper "Voice of Ukraine," which published the entire list of deputies on October 17 of this year.
Stepan Kubiv, the president's representative to the Verkhovna Rada and former head of the National Bank, and Andriy Parubiy, the first deputy speaker of the parliament, received compensation from the state budget. In addition, the current heads of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration and the Ternopil Regional State Administration received housing rent compensation from the state budget for the third quarter of 2015. Valeriy Kulich and Stepan Barna were transferred to regional positions in May 2015, and their parliamentary powers were suspended. Another former parliamentarian received housing rent compensation. Dmytro Shlemko from Batkivshchyna received compensation, but his parliamentary powers were suspended in early June 2015.
Sixty-eight MPs from the BPP received rent compensation. Forty-four MPs from the People's Front, 15 from Samopomich, 14 from the Opposition Bloc, nine MPs from the Vidrodzhennya Party group, six from the People's Will group, six from Lyashko's Party, four from Batkivshchyna, and 14 non-partisan MPs.
Compensation was paid to the head of the NF faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Maksym Burbak (Read more about it in the article Maksym Burbak: How Chernivtsi residents sat on Donetsk's "golden toilet") and his deputy, Andriy Teteruk. Samopomich leader Oleh Berezyuk and his deputy, Oleh Lavrik, received compensation.
The Opposition Bloc paid rent from the state budget to Alexander Vilkul and Dmitry Shpenov.
