The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense purchased military uniforms from MiK LLC at a price significantly higher than the cost price, according to Nashi Groshi.
Last October, a contract was signed for the supply of 8 uniforms. The price was 4,8 million hryvnias. It was revealed that MiK LLC acted only as an intermediary in the sale, while the fabric was produced at Cherkasy Silk Mill, where a linear meter was priced at 25 hryvnias, and up to 5 linear meters were used for one uniform set. The uniforms themselves were sewn at the Ukrainian Society of the Deaf and the Nedarizhashcha Correctional Colony. As a result, a set was priced at 70-130 hryvnias, while the original purchase price was supposed to be 190-225 hryvnias, but in reality, it was 462-594 hryvnias.
Investigators have opened criminal proceedings against the company's management for tax evasion and money laundering and have already received court permission to access the company's financial documents.
MiK LLC itself is owned by Oleg Mitrokhin from Zaporizhzhia. He also managed the Intekstil enterprise of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Public Organization for the Disabled "Khozyaika." Interestingly, the Ministry of Defense once again turned to Mitrokhin, this time ordering soap, sleeping bags, and clothing worth 106,4 million hryvnias.
