The Supreme Council of Justice (HCJ), acting on a request from the Ministry of Justice, has ordered proceedings against Inna Otrosh, a judge of Kyiv's Pechersky District Court, for incompatibility with her position. This was announced in a statement from the HCJ's press service.
The proceedings will be opened in accordance with Part 3 of Article 1 of the Law "On the Purification of Power." It is known that Judge Otrosh was appointed to the Supreme Court of Justice during the period when the prohibitions stipulated by the Lustration Law were in effect.
The Supreme Court's press service also reported that proceedings against Otrosh would be opened because the judge refused to undergo a lustration check.
It is known that in 2014, the Supreme Court of Justice refused to initiate the dismissal of judges Rodion Kireyev and Inna Otrosh. As a reminder, Judge Otrosh is accused of violating the terms of the trial in the Yulia Tymoshenko case.
