Funding requests from ministries and departments will be cut in 2017
Ministries and agencies plan to spend over 1 trillion hryvnias in 2017. However, the Cabinet of Ministers is only prepared to allocate two-thirds of this amount, the publication reports. RBC Ukraine.
According to First Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv, Ukraine's 2017 budget may not be adopted until the end of the year. Next year's state budget priorities include increasing funding for the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. However, they, too, will not receive the desired UAH 150 billion. They are scheduled to receive only UAH 120 billion.
Other departments are experiencing a similar situation. However, the Cabinet of Ministers will not be able to meet all requests from ministries and agencies, and these requests will be curtailed.
