As is well known, there are many Ukrainian officials who are quite wealthy at a very young age. However, the origins of their wealth remain a mystery. One such official is Sergey Krasnokutsky, deputy head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection, a lieutenant general who also served as deputy minister of transport. He also holds the academic titles of associate professor and candidate of legal sciences, all at the age of 32.

As it turns out, Krasnokutsky has been awarded a personalized weapon by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is a Distinguished Economist of Ukraine, and is a fifth-rank civil servant.

However, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs website, Krasnokutsky graduated from the National University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but other data indicates a much lower level of education—9th grade. Media reports also indicate that the general drives an expensive, exclusive car worth $500. The subject of the article claimed he earned this money himself, having started working at the age of 12:

“I was born into a family of teachers, and from the age of 12, I was working at markets and at a mining and processing plant.”

The former deputy minister also opened several companies. However, this is not the only such case. Among the most recent are the rise of Petro Poroshenko's eldest son, Oleksiy, who now works in Shanghai, and the recently elected mayor of Mukachevo, Andriy Baloha.
