A businessman from the Donetsk region has become the new shareholder of Avakov's wife's bank (Basis Bank, Kharkiv). He acquired 73,2% of the financial institution's shares, according to the commercial bank's press service.
Changes to the supervisory board of the bank controlled by Inna Avakova occurred due to the withdrawal of Investor-Fund LLC and Investor LLC from the shareholders of Basis Bank. The latter is known to be directly owned by Avakov's wife. The companies, respectively, received 73,2% and 21,6% of the financial institution's shares.
Bio-M, a company controlled by Artemovsk businessman Evgeny Pilipenko, has become the new shareholder of Basis Bank. Another individual, whose name is not yet known, has also joined the supervisory board.
