The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has launched an investigation into the Kharkiv-based Electrotyazhmash plant on suspicion of corruption. Minister Aivaras Abromavicius announced this on Twitter.

The minister himself complained that he, too, was under investigation after the dismissal of the company's head, Vladimir Glushakov. Specifically, the correctness of Glushakov's dismissal procedure is being investigated.

It's worth noting that Elektrotyazhmash, along with Ukrkhimtransamiak, the United Mining and Chemical Company (Titan), and UkrBurshtyn, are subordinate to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. The minister raised the issue of dismissing the heads of the other enterprises, but for now, the matter remains on hold.

Viktor Bondik (Ukrkhimtransamiak) has not yet been able to fire, just like Ruslan Zhurilo (Titan).

Abromavicius himself states that they are simply ignoring demands to write resignation letters.

Let us recall that Elektrotyazhmash is engaged in strategic production for the Ukrainian industry.
