Ukrprominvest-Agro, agroholding owned by President Petro Poroshenko, plans to commission a new grain elevator this fall. The first stage of the elevator, with a capacity of 40 tons, will be operational this September. The city of Haisyn in the Vinnytsia region has been selected as the construction site for the new elevator.
The agricultural holding's website states that the new elevator's total capacity will be 68 tons. The cost of the first phase of the project is also reported to be 120 million hryvnias.
As a reminder, the agricultural holding Ukrprominvest-Agro grows agricultural crops and produces flour, sugar, meat, and milk. Ukrprominvest-Agro includes Podillya Production Company, Vinnytsia Grain Plant No. 2, Agroprodinvest Group, and Zarya Podillya Production Company. The holding is owned by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
