Former head of the Presidential Office Yermak intended to send the head of the SAP, Oleksandr Klimenko, to jail.

Klimenko himself spoke about this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Ye pitannya".
According to him, such attempts were made about a year ago, when Bankova tried to take control of anti-corruption agencies.
" Yermak gathered the heads of law enforcement agencies and gave them instructions to put me in prison ," Klimenko stated.
He also answered the host's question about whether he considers Yermak to be the main initiator of the attack on NABU and SAP a year ago.
"I believe it was a collective decision, discussed at meetings. Some were more active, others less so. We have a recording of a conversation in which Yermak, while in Turkey, called his deputy and said that the law could not be repealed retroactively after the president's decision. He proposed creating working groups, bringing in experts, not inviting Zheleznyak and his team, but at the same time, delaying the process to defuse the protests and avoid returning powers to NABU and the SAP ," Klymenko explained.

He also said that investigators intend to verify the origin of the funds deposited as bail for Yermak and other defendants in NABU cases.
Media outlets previously reported that Bankova last year was preparing a "retaliatory strike" against NABU and SAPO through the SBU, based on testimony from former MP Khristenko, convicted of treason and close acquaintances with the leadership of the anti-corruption agencies and some of their employees. Political circles are not ruling out the possibility of a similar strike in the future.
