The Kyiv Court of Appeal upheld the seizure of a UAH 2,3 million bank account found in Oschadbank, opened in the name of former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. (Read more about Mykola Azarov: Nikolai Azarov. The Survivor. Part 1 ). This became known from a message from the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Azarov's account at Oschadbank was reportedly discovered by State Financial Monitoring Service officers. At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Pechersky District Court seized these funds on February 24, 2016.

As a reminder, Kyiv's Pechersky District Court previously seized the pensions of Mykola Azarov and Viktor Yanukovych.
