An appeals court overturned a 130 million hryvnia payment from the budget to the son of former tax chief Golovach.

On March 24, 2021, the Kyiv Court of Appeal upheld the appeals of the Office of the Prosecutor General, the State Tax Service, and the State Treasury Service, and overturned the decision of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv, which upheld the claim of Oleksandr Golovach (son of the former head of the tax police under Yanukovych, Andriy Golovach) and ordered the recovery of UAH 130 million from the state budget in favor of the plaintiff as “erroneously credited to the state budget,” reports Finbalance.

The Kyiv Court of Appeal issued a new decision in this case, denying Golovach Jr.'s claim.
