Vasyl Kislyak, director of the Gorgany Nature Reserve, has been arrested by the court. He was fined 4,000 hryvnias for official negligence and banned from holding any management positions for one year. However, he continues to lead the institution, according to Nashi Groshi.
Four years ago, the director of the Gorgany Production Association signed a contract with the Kyiv-based Scientific and Production Company Kurs to develop land management documentation and subsequently restore land plot boundaries. The cost of the work was 303,500 hryvnias. However, the work was improperly executed. Kislyak accepted and approved the reports, even though they contained no information on the locations of geodetic network points and did not comply with regulations.
The accused, however, denied his guilt. Interestingly, this isn't the first such verdict. Previously, in 2014, Kislyak was fined 5,1 hryvnias in connection with the same case.
Moreover, back in 2014 it was known that NPK Kurs had developed documents that did not comply with regulatory acts.
It is important to note that the company itself is controlled by Joint-Stock Financial Company Sistema (47%) and Micromodule LLC (50%), which in turn are managed, among other things, from Russia.
