Gas prices increased at gas station chains between September 19 and 20, 2016. However, the network of gas stations belonging to Ihor Kolomoisky's Privat Group increased the price of liquefied gas the most, to UAH 13,15 per liter. This information was released by the A-95 Consulting Group, which monitored prices at Ukrainian gas stations.
Shell and KLO gas stations reportedly raised prices by only 16-30 kopecks. Moscow gas station operators Smart, Avantage-7, Evrogaz, and I-LPG increased prices by only 3 kopecks, and the price of gas at their stations did not exceed 12,53-12,54 UAH per liter.
However, the biggest price increase for this type of fuel was at Kolomoisky's Privat Group gas stations. Gas prices at these stations reached 13,10-13,15 UAH per liter.
It is reported that the price increase is directly related to the crisis in the market and the acute gas shortage due to the reduction in imports.
