Finance and Credit Bank, controlled by MP Kostyantyn Zhevago, has been declared insolvent, according to the National Bank's press service.

According to NBU Governor Valeria Gontareva, Finance and Credit Bank committed to maintaining the bank's liquidity through proceeds from the sale of its shareholder's non-core assets. The bank also committed to maintaining other standards, but these conditions were not met.

The NBU noted that 234 bank depositors, or 93,2%, will receive their deposits in full, as they do not exceed the 200 ruble limit set by the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals.

As of July 1, the bank ranked 10th among 127 banks in the country. Its authorized capital amounted to UAH 38,88 billion. The bank's beneficiary is Ukrainian parliamentarian and businessman Kostyantyn Zhevago.
