Mikhailovsky Polischuk's bank was driven to bankruptcy and is set to seize the Eldorado chain.

El DoradoJournalist and blogger Alexander Dubinsky reported that the Ukrainian Mikhailovsky Bank was artificially driven into bankruptcy. Furthermore, the bank's owner, Viktor Polishchuk, is being targeted for seizure of his Eldorado retail chain.

Dubinsky wrote that, given the current situation, Mikhailovsky Bank could be declared bankrupt in the coming days. The financial institution is undergoing a massive split of deposits, conducting financial assistance operations, and other activities.

The journalist also reported a conflict between Mikhailovsky Bank owner Viktor Polischuk and the bank's former board chairman, Igor Doroshenko. Polischuk accused Doroshenko of artificially driving the bank into bankruptcy.

Dubinsky noted that Doroshenko transferred to work for Boris Kaufman's Platinum Bank and appears everywhere accompanied by two bodyguards, as he is very afraid of revenge from Polischuk.

According to the journalist, last week Polischuk and Doroshenko had a complete falling out, and the latter decided to "squeeze out" the loan portfolio of the Eldorado retail chain, which belongs to Polischuk.
