The Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals sold the main assets of Nadra Bank OJSC for UAH 21,51 million.
In total, 15 insolvent banks sold their assets last week. The total proceeds amounted to UAH 24,47 billion.
As a reminder, Nadra Bank's license was revoked in June 2015. At that time, the NBU initiated liquidation proceedings against the financial institution. Nearly 90% of the bank's shares are owned by Centrogaz Holding GMBH, which is associated with businessman Dmytro Firtash. Prior to this, in 2014, Firtash's bank was declared problematic due to insufficient capitalization.
Attempts to introduce temporary administration to the bank and improve its operations were unsuccessful.
