OJSC IIB (International Investment Bank), owned by Petro Poroshenko and his business partner Ihor Kononenko, has decided to increase its authorized capital to UAH 161,625 million. This decision was made at the financial institution's shareholders' meeting on April 12, 2016, according to the bank's press service.
The increase in the authorized capital will be carried out by allocating part of the profit received for 2015.
It was previously reported that Poroshenko's bank, OJSC IIB, was one of the few in Ukraine to increase its net profit in 2015.
60% of the International Investment Bank's shares are owned by President Petro Poroshenko through a number of entities. Another 14,9% is owned by Ihor Kononenko, deputy chairman of the BPP faction in the Ukrainian Parliament.
