As of the third quarter of this year, the assets of the International Investment Bank grew by 47% and amounted to 4,7 billion hryvnia.
The bank's main shareholder is Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. It's important to note that the bank's assets have grown 2,3-fold since July 2014, while the situation in the country's banking system is different: they decreased by 6,8% in the first eight months of this year.
Poroshenko controls 60% of the bank's shares, although he owns them indirectly. The second-largest shareholder is Ihor Kononenko, first deputy chairman of the BPP faction, with a 14,9% stake.
The International Investment Bank itself is in 32nd place in terms of assets, while at the beginning of the year it was in 47th place, and a year ago it was in 78th place.
