Poroshenko's bloc and the People's Front have disowned Levchenko.

Yuriy Levchenko, a candidate for People's Deputy in the 223rd electoral district (Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital), deliberately misled voters by publishing information in his campaign materials that he was the joint candidate of the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda", the "People's Front", and the "Petro Poroshenko Bloc".

KV learned about this from responses to journalistic inquiries.

O. Kolganova, head of the communications department for the People's Front political party's election headquarters, informed journalists from Espreso TV that the party did not nominate its own candidates for parliament in the 223rd constituency and had made no decisions about supporting candidates other than those nominated by the People's Front in the October 26 elections.

I.M. Khitsevich, head of the secretariat of the Kyiv city territorial organization of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party, also reported similar information to KV. "The Petro Poroshenko Bloc party has not made any decisions to support any of the registered candidates in single-mandate constituency No. 223," Khitsevich reported.

This means that candidate Yuriy Levchenko is nominated solely by the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda." The People's Front and the Petro Poroshenko Bloc did not nominate or support Levchenko. Thus, Levchenko deliberately misled voters.

As KV previously reported, in the 223rd constituency, Levchenko expressed his intention to fight "to the bitter end" for a seat in the Verkhovna Rada against former head of the Shevchenkivska District State Administration, Viktor Pylypyshyn. Meanwhile, posters were distributed in the elevators of apartment buildings in the 223rd constituency announcing Levchenko as the joint candidate of Svoboda, the People's Front, and the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
