READ PART ONE: Militant Radical Lyashko. Part 1

Sins of youth: 18 years later; two women and one radical youth; a fleet of cars and aircraft; PR based on blood; Lyashko-Levochkin: inherited, interested SUBJECT?

A deputy with anal immunity

In 2010, a video recording of Lyashko's interrogation by prosecutor Oleg Matveyev, who was handling the case involving the Volga cars and the apartment in Vishnevoye, was released. Many in the prosecutor's office knew about this recording, but it was only aired 18 years later. In it, Lyashko recounts in detail his sexual exploits, his passionate love affair with Borya S., and how Lyashko met him late one evening in the office of Volodin, the head of the Moscow police department. The investigator didn't inquire about the young journalist's activities there at such a late hour. However, Lyashko did detail the essence of his conversation with Borya (and why only him?), not failing to emphasize that he remained "anally untouchable."

At the height of the scandal, Lyashko, without batting an eye, accused his BYuT detractors of provocation and manipulation. But the trouble is, that same investigator, Matveyev, who had already moved to the Tax Inspectorate, confirmed that the recording was authentic and had been made during the investigation into Lyashko's criminal activities.

The BYuT, having made some vague statement, got rid of Lyashko a few days later under a plausible pretext. Curtain call.

According to an alternative version, Olezhik, while working on the budget committee, out of old habit hid money for "solving issues," sending it into his own pocket instead of the party coffers.

Real macho women

After yet another, but by no means the only, sex scandal, Lyashko made a titanic effort to convince the electorate that it was all a slander and that he was 100% macho. He would invite a film crew to his home and, on tape, jokingly force a journalist into bed, or tell everyone about his wife, Rosita... Alas, everything in Lyashko's life is fake.

In reality, Lyashko allegedly had two wives. He even introduced the author of these lines to the first of them. Tatyana Yuzkova is a quiet, sweet woman who barely managed to utter a single sentence during our entire conversation. She is the daughter of Leonid Yuzkov, the first head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. Incidentally, she was Viktor Medvedchuk's teacher. Initially, she defended Lyashko in the libel case against Durdynets. Then, Oleg somehow ended up living in an apartment in a building on the Passage in the very center of Kyiv. The property belongs to Yuzkova. Lyashko introduced her as his wife. Who knows? However, this union, if it existed at all, produced no children and lasted only a year and a half. Incidentally, Lyashko now owns an apartment on Lesi Ukrainky Avenue, as well as a house in the village of Sribna Zatoka, an elite town near Kyiv. The house is located right next to Yulia Tymoshenko's mansion.

After Yuzkova, the world suddenly learned of a certain Rosita – a Fastov woman with a corresponding expression. According to the official version, they met at a Kyiv casino, where Rosita managed the slot machine room. Lyashko and his team actively promote her and their daughter on social media. Occasionally, Lyashko brings Rosita onto television under an innocent pretext, to demonstrate that he is a full-fledged man. However, no one in the know believes him. One of his colleagues told the author how she attended a meeting between Rosita and Lyashko near the "Ukraine" Palace in Kyiv, where an event was supposed to take place. Before their public appearance, the couple had agreed to talk about their "life together."

In short, only a few lucky people saw the two "Lyashko women." More often, Lyashko was seen in company with a young man whose hair had clearly been done at a women's hair salon.

The bleak prospects for lustration

At the very beginning of his parliamentary tenure, Lyashko was accused on live television by a well-informed journalist of owning a luxury Mercedes. Where did such a car come from, a former opposition figure living alone, with no business or other sources of income? Lyashko confidently declared these were morbid fantasies: he doesn't own any expensive cars. Since then, his standard of living has improved significantly, and Lyashko has saved enough on his parliamentary salary to purchase a small fleet of cars. Specifically:

Toyota Land Cruiser, gray, AA0303BP

Mercedes Benz S500L 4M, grey, AA1021BP (purchased to replace the one the press found in his possession back when he was editor of Svoboda).

Land Rover, blue, AA3303BP;
There's also a Range Rover, which the country's leading radical promised to donate to volunteers at the front. Instead, he simply changed the license plates: BA3681AT
Lyashko's security has its own fleet of vehicles:

AA2002SM, MERCEDES-BENZ GL 450, BLACK
АІ0535EA, MERCEDES-BENZ VIANO, SYRIA
KIA SOUL JT811A, СІРИЙ
LEXUS LS 460 L, AA0569BP (the boss sometimes drives it).
However, those looking to count Oleh Lyashko's wealth should also pay attention to his deputy in the party, Yuriy Sukhin (now a member of the Kyiv City Council). Sukhin oversees all financial matters for Lyashko and his pocket party. Officially, Sukhin is the owner of an entire fleet of vehicles.

AA5549BP PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 2008
AA5549BP FERRARI 612 SCAGLIETTI 2008
AA5559VR RANGE ROVER 4.2 2007
AA2039BX PEUGEOT 307 XT 2.0E 2006
AA2320BP Volkswagen TOUAREG 2006
Defender of the Ukrainian lands

In fact, when Lyashko fought for his place in the sun in the secret communications office, rushing to the generals' baths on call, that was his own business. And when he pretends to be a macho man to fit the image of a radical politician, that's also his choice. But there are moments in life when people need to stop. Lyashko can't stop.

With the outbreak of military action in the east, the leader of the Radical Party, inspired by his success in the recent presidential election (8,32% of the vote), began actively using the military theme in his PR campaign for the imminent snap parliamentary elections. After all, everyone is now unanimously predicting incredible success for Lyashko and his party. And he's already relishing the joys of owning an entire parliamentary faction, literally marching over corpses to achieve this goal.

For a normal person, publicity based on bloodshed and the deaths of people dying on the front lines for their country is a crime. For Lyashko, it's an excellent opportunity to score points before storming the parliamentary citadel.

His strategy is simple and effective. First, Lyashko's fighters enter a populated area free of enemy military forces, capture a prominent separatist, and Lyashko conducts a tirade against him on camera. He then immediately posts the footage online. Essentially, his unit's fighters are his personal security detail, participating in the show and protecting the boss at rallies organized by his PR people. Lyashko scores points, while the country loses face in the eyes of international organizations; civilians and fighters are killed due to the notorious politician's chatter.

Thus, Amnesty International considers the actions of Ukrainian nationalist Oleh Lyashko and his armed supporters to be a flagrant violation of international legal norms and demands that the Ukrainian authorities put an end to his atrocities."

An international human rights organization is concerned that Lyashko and his mercenaries are kidnapping, abusing, and torturing people, and then posting video evidence of these crimes online. In the West, they are surprised: why isn't Lyashko stopped? Why hasn't this tractor driver-turned-lawyer been prosecuted?

But, when in the heat of the moment, Lyashko doesn't limit himself to torture. There is ample evidence that Lyashko's actions resulted in casualties.

On May 9, Lyashko wrote on Facebook about his military exploits:

“Details of the remaining attempt to storm the Mariupol UVS and steal it

boss, patriot Valery Andrushchuk.

The air force was shot at by snipers and saboteurs. Zokrema toi virodok, who killed the battalion commander

to the Dnipro battalion, the fallen Hero of Demidenok. It's nearly fifteen o'clock

The armed saboteurs were cunningly captured by the Air Force, showing "fake"

svіdchenya. The head of the communications department, who let them in, was struck by the stench.

After this, an attempt to assault began, and when our fighters realized that they were visible, the saboteurs and separatists began an attempt to burn down the air force. At least two saboteurs who entered the barn were unable to leave through the lock's locking system. That's where they met their death. We definitely don’t know how many corpses there were at one time.”

Losses on our side: 7 dead, 39 wounded.

Lyashko's post on Facebook on June 13:

“ATO in Mariupol: grievances at the premises - State Pedagogical University and the Bank - are all blamed on terrorists. The cleaning of adjacent streets is contagious.”

Result: 4 wounded Ukrainian soldiers, 5 killed separatists.

On August 4, Lyashko announced on Facebook:

“Shakhtarsk and Azov battalions are breaking through the defense of DPR terrorists

And they are now approaching Donetsk. Mariinka is completely free. Trivaya bіy pіd

Oleksandrivka. Cover up, but a lot of wounded. God, give strength to all who are stealing Ukraine!

Death to the enemies!

As a result, the attackers suffered losses: 12 were wounded, including one soldier who lost his leg. Two civilians were killed. There were no reports of casualties among the military personnel who were forced to rescue the volunteers.

August 5, FB.

A National Guard fighter nicknamed "Surgeon" said that in two out of six cases, it was Lyashko's talkativeness that allowed the rebels to learn about the positions of Ukrainian security forces.

"The militant faggot Lyashko is ready to do anything for PR and ratings. Wherever this dummy shows up, guys die immediately. This dummy arrives in a combat zone with his journalists and immediately spreads information about his "heroic" exploits on social media. Terrorists simply don't understand how anyone could be so stupid as to spread information about where he's going with his "fake" battalion. This idiot needs to be arrested or banned from promoting himself in a combat zone, because young guys are dying because of his PR."

On September 3, Lyashko wrote on Facebook:

“This very important object is Mariupol. Our task is to prevent the enemy from reaching the sea. Moscow’s goal is to cut Ukraine both from the Black Sea and from the Azov Sea. Also, break through a land corridor to Krimu. I urge the President to direct all efforts as much as possible to the defense of Mariupol and key points - Volnovakha, Olenivka and others.

More troops, military forces and armored vehicles will concentrate in the defense of Mariupol, not allowing the enemy to retreat and take the place.

Glory to Ukraine! Death to the occupiers!

The enemy doesn't need to send reconnaissance teams: Lyashko's message makes it clear the city is undefended—they can safely take it. And if you want to know what equipment volunteers and MoD soldiers are receiving, check out Lyashko's page again:

On August 31, Lyashko wrote on Facebook:

“Today we handed over 4 BRDMs and a dozen vehicles to our fighters on the Similar Front. The end of the army crisis has passed and sold all the army equipment for pennies, now we are looking for and buying them all over the country. Everything for the front, everything for victory!

Glory to Ukraine!"

September 4

“We handed over armored vehicles to the commander of the Luhansk-1 battalion today. Forever patriots are starved of grub and are deprived of equipment that volunteers cannot buy. Now the armed battalion has a BRDM, UAZ and a civilian minivan.”

Now the enemy knows with what forces it should storm the positions of Lugansk-1.

But Lyashko's heroic actions don't stop at informing the enemy on social media. Everyone should know that the leader of the Radical Party is the savior and protector of every little Ukrainian, the activists' main supporter.

On August 30, Lyashko poured out his soul on Facebook:

“Valichka. There's an angel. The right angel, who between the backdrops and the fires of the front line helps the warriors of the light. Getting to know Valichka in Luhansk region. She's from Cherkassy, but also in Donbass. Bring hot food and bread to the fighters. Believe me, it’s even more important, it seems less important.

Valichka bakes the bread herself. Lishe s boroshn vischogo gatunka. Best for fighters. Hands,

Like the smell of gunpowder, your hands are like the smell of bread. And hands that smell like bread,

Hands are burning like the smell of gunpowder... We only support one another, we are happy with those who seem stronger. Having given Valichka an armored car. I hope that God will take care of this angel. If we had more such heroic girls, we would be better off.”

However, it turned out he didn't deliver any car, nor did he intend to. Valentina Bezsonova, whom Lyashko mentioned, claims she never received any car from Lyashko. Lyashko himself told reporters he simply didn't have time to sell his Rover and is trying to negotiate a higher price for it.

In another incident, Lyashko claimed that his friend, commander Oleksandr Gumenyuk, was killed in the ATO. Allegedly, at Lyashko's suggestion, the Minister of Defense appointed Gumenyuk as battalion commander in April. However, the deceased's relatives claim he was not friends with Lyashko.

“I really don’t want to enter into a discussion, I don’t want to make any comments, it’s too dishonest, it’s too dishonest,” says comrade of the deceased battalion commander Mikhail Davidyuk.

According to him, he and Gumenyuk, without Lyashko, formed the 11th battalion of volunteers. Gumenyuk’s widow adds: “It’s PR. 120% PR. The price is low. Politicians have neither conscience nor honor.”

But Lyashko develops the theme: “The lieutenant fell asleep with the battalion commander’s homeland, it’s rotten, it’s a pity, he lives, he sleeps.”

“Lyashko didn’t contact us, didn’t say anything, didn’t say anything,” states the widow.

In another incident, Lyashko promised to sell his Range Rover and donate the proceeds to the army. Instead, he simply changed the license plates.

Overall, the "Lyashko and the ATO" topic hasn't been covered in the media. Yet, thanks to ATO PR, Lyashko won a healthy 8,9% of the vote in the presidential election. And today, he's making full use of this proven technique in preparation for the parliamentary elections. Let's briefly summarize his diverse activities in the war zone.

First of all, all claims about the creation of a "Lyashko Battalion"—"Ukraine"—should be disavowed. Such a battalion does not exist, nor has it ever existed, just as there was no car allegedly given to activist Valechka. Lyashko has been ingratiating himself with one volunteer unit after another. In May and June, he promoted himself against the Azov fighters. Then, he was gently dismissed, and Lyashko turned his attention to the Shakhtarsk Battalion. He had a strong position there, but the battalion didn't perform well: on September 11, Poroshenko ordered its disbandment. Today, all of Shakhtarsk's fighters serve as privates in other battalions. The reason, which neither Lyashko nor the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to which Shakhtarsk reported, mentions—looting.

After this unpleasant event for Lyashko, he turned his attention to another unit and today is actively promoting it: “Luhansk-1”.

You might ask: who are these formidable warriors with whom the militant radical heroically arrests and interrogates separatists? Nobody! Formally, they are fighters under no one's control. Sometimes Lyashko recruited fighters from Azov or Shatersk for his "operations." But mostly, he drags his own entourage of security guards and "temporarily employed" fighters into the ATO zone. They arrive, have a good time, have a photo-video session, and then go their separate ways.

It's not as if Lyashko does nothing at all. According to informed sources, he occasionally provides assistance to fighters in his "patron" battalions. But this assistance is disproportionate to the level of self-promotion the radical sponsor demands in return. Battalion commander Andriy Biletsky describes his assistance to Aidar fighters in an interview with UP: he'll give a fighter his own points, use his connections at the top to expedite decisions on the battalion's participation in the ATO, or secure additional weapons from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' stockpiles. Oleh Valerievich is extremely reluctant to spend his own money... As a result, the fighters begin to suspect they're being scammed... and soon they part ways with the gay radical.

The sky beckoned him

It's hard to keep track of Lyashko's movements around the country. In the space of a day, he can be at the front, in Mariupol, in Kyiv... And all of this spills into the minds of television viewers (the Inter channel is particularly active).

September 8, Lyashko's post on Facebook:

“How many times have we visited the Lviv Hospital again with our sister cities. They brought them a one-piece surgical equipment, a multifunctional bed, surgical equipment, faceplates, rollators, medical gowns and a lot of other things needed for the treatment and rehabilitation of our fighters Anything that helps the Heroes.”

And in June, Lyashko flew to a prayer service in Volyn. Well, that's a good thing. He arrived on a chartered Premier IA jet, which cost $18. Lyashko's aide said the plane was provided to his boss by "kind people." That might be true, but wouldn't it have been better to arrive in the Range Rover, which the MP never sent to the front lines? The money saved could have been spent on purchasing a whole batch of body armor and helmets... But Lyashko continues to fly his air taxi across the country: PR is more valuable than money.

Oleg, take a rest and remember your friends.

Lyashko has a hobby: collecting coins, ties, and glasses. So I thought: maybe I could channel his energy in that direction? Instead of "helping" the military and volunteers, "saving" the country, and playing politics. Elton John also collects glasses and is universally popular, despite some odd behavior. Maybe Lyashko could also assemble a fine collection of glasses, invite old acquaintances—generals and politicians—over to visit, show them off, and reminisce about the old days?

Lyashko's election campaign is said to be generously financed by Mr. Levochkin. It's safe to assume that Levochkin inherited Oleg from his father, Vladimir Levochkin. The elder Levochkin was bound to have had some interactions with Lyashko. In the 70s, he began his career as a boarding school teacher. But he likely learned about Oleg Lyashko, a boarding school alumnus, later—when he began being dragged around by generals' offices and later imprisoned.

The fact is that by that time, Volodymyr Lyovochkin held a high position in the penitentiary service, which was part of the police department. The scandal surrounding the conviction of the generals' favorite was the talk of the Interior Ministry. Minister Kravchenko, who, on Kuchma's orders, had unleashed the case against Lyashko, was friends with Volodymyr Lyovochkin—they couldn't help but discuss it. And Lyovochkin couldn't have been unaware that Lyashko was a police agent (some experts claim he was also an SBU agent). Lyovochkin Sr. was likely responsible for arranging the VIP prisoner's living conditions as part of his official duties. His premature release from prison could not have happened without Lyovochkin's assistance. Whether he contributed to the renovation of Lyashko's first apartment in Vyshneve, funded by the prison colony, is unlikely to be known. Volodymyr Lyovochkin died in 2005.

Today, his influential son, Sergei, continues to oversee Lyashko, investing considerable funds in this political project. He probably wasn't informed that Lyashko is a losing proposition. Like a systemic addict, he craves a higher dose, intrigue, and adrenaline. He seems to lack any other human feelings. And in his addiction to intrigue, Lyashko has already reached the breaking point. From here, there's only a precipitous decline. He'll inevitably fall, and the electorate, even if it's too late (preferably before election day), will see through this shell of a man, beneath which there's absolutely nothing.
