According to the results of a survey conducted by the Rating group, the current president, Petro Poroshenko (Read more: Petro Poroshenko: Biography and the Truth About Ukraine's "Chocolate King") 10,7% would vote if elections were held in the near future.
17,7% would vote for Batkivshchyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko, 11,5% for Opposition Bloc leader Yuriy Boyko (Read more: Yuriy Boyko – "The Untouchable"). These results were announced at a press conference by the head of the social group "Rating" Alexey Antipovich.
He also announced that radical leader Oleg Lyashko had been included in the presidential rating (Read more: Militant Radical Lyashko. Part 1) – 9,8%, Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovyi (Read more: Lviv Mayor Sadovyi is a budding oligarch from Samopomich.) – 8,9%, head of the “Civic Position” Anatoly Gritsenko – 7,5%. It turns out there are voters ready to cast their ballots for both Nadezhda Savchenko – 5,6% – and Oleh Tyahnybok (Read more: Oleh Tyahnybok: Sponsors and allies of the Ukrainian nationalist) – 4,3%. Former head of the PS Dmitry Yarosh received 2% in the rating (Read more: Yarosh and the Right Sector. Who are we working for?) and Sergei Tigipko (Read more: Serhiy Tigipko: Komsomol oligarch covers his tracks).
Antipovich noted that the survey took into account the responses of those who plan to run in the elections and have decided on a candidate.
It is worth noting that Poroshenko’s rating has fallen by half since December 2015, while Tymoshenko’s has grown from 13% to 18%.
