Briton Cox leaves Ukrnafta two months after his appointment

UkrnaftaChristopher Cox, Executive Vice President of Upstream and Downstream, has decided to leave his position at PJSC Ukrnafta, two months after taking up the post. He was appointed to the position in late November.
The reason for this, according to the company's press service, is his appointment to the British company Centrica, as well as family circumstances, since Cox is a British citizen.
Media outlets previously reported that Cox was leaving with Nikolai Greinert, Executive Vice President of Human Resources, and Irina Evets, Chief Financial Officer. However, the press service stated that Greinert was only being considered as a candidate and had not yet assumed the position. Regarding Evets, the company stated that rumors of her departure were untrue.
It should be noted that Ukrnafta's operations were previously blocked at three oil fields, which, coupled with the departure of managers, may indicate serious problems within the company.
