One of Dnipropetrovsk's cinemas, the city's oldest, "Rodina," is owned by a London-based offshore company, according to Nashi Groshi.
According to media reports, there are five movie theaters in the city: Most-Kino, Materik, Pravda-Kino, Multiplex, and a branch of the Odesa Cinema. It's worth noting that the Rodina building previously belonged to the family of Yulia Tymoshenko and then to businessman Mikhail Sokolov. It is currently owned by Vit Company LTD.
Its director is Ukrainian citizen Viktoria Khintsinskaya, and the company was previously owned by a Seychelles firm, Space Group Limited. On August 21 of last year, the London-based company was acquired by Global Set Corporation, whose jurisdiction is unknown.
In Dnepropetrovsk, a London-based company is listed as the liquidator of Kattani LLC and Albany LLC, owned by the family of Igor Gorodnitsky.
Four of the city's five movie theaters are located in various shopping malls: Most-Kino is located in the Most-City Center shopping mall, Materik is located in Materik, a branch of the Odessa movie theater is located in the Duffy shopping mall, and Multiplex is located in the Karavan shopping mall. Pravda-Kino operates in a separate building.
Broadcasts on Most-Kino and Materik are carried out by Kino Tema LLC (owner – Elegrest LTD from Cyprus).
LLC "KC Moscow" (owners Svetlana Yakimova and Nikolai Kovalenko from Kharkov) works at "Duffy".
Nikolai Mirza and Konstantin Chernetsky's Multiplex-Cherkasy LLC screens films at the Karavan shopping center cinema. It's important to note that both are members of the Cherkasy City Council's BPP.
The screening is carried out by Pravda-Kino JSC, owned by Tamara Avramenko and Roman Pavlov, at the Pravda-Kino cinema.
