Officials from the Ukrainian Ministry of Health and the State Service for Medicines and Drug Administration plan to re-authorize the Russian drug ARBIDOL for sale in Ukraine in the near future, despite the existence of a criminal case regarding the illegal registration of this drug, as well as the lack of pre-registration studies of this medication.

The Ministry of Health officially announced that the manufacturer of Arbidol, Pharmstandard-Leksredstva OJSC, has already begun the process of re-registering its drug.
As a reminder, the State Service for Medicines and Drug Control previously suspended sales of Arbidol in Ukraine due to the expiration of its registration period.
As reliable sources have revealed, the outcry from experts in the media regarding the drug's ineffectiveness has greatly displeased the manufacturers, who make millions off the health of Ukrainians. Therefore, the latter have been actively seeking positive solutions to their problem in the offices of high-ranking officials.
As a result, the bribe for re-registering Arbidol in Ukraine amounted to $300. Negotiations with the manufacturer regarding this matter were personally conducted by the Deputy Head of the State Service for Medicines and Drugs, A. Zakharash. It is not difficult to assume that the lion's share of this bribe was intended for the Head of the State Service for Medicines and Drugs of Ukraine, M. Pasechnik.
This is most likely why M. Pasechnik recently publicly threatened Arbidol that they should not count on quick registration.
In fact, Ukrainian officials have once again sold out and sold the health of thousands of Ukrainian citizens and children to Russian businesses.
Arbidol is owned by Vladimir Kharitonin, a close associate of Vladimir Putin himself, who is one of the hundred richest people in Russia, according to Forbes Russia magazine.
Arbidol is not registered in any Western country, as its effectiveness has not been confirmed by any scientific studies. Moreover, if administered incorrectly, this drug "disables the immune system," which can have catastrophic consequences, especially for children.
As a reminder, media outlets previously reported that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is investigating a criminal case against the manufacturer of Arbidol and officials of the State Expertise Center of the Ministry of Health.
