Vladimir Tkachenko, who had been absent from the position for a year, has re-appointed the Executive Directorate of the Social Insurance Fund for Temporary Disability. This was reported by the agency's press service.
According to media reports, the Goloseevsky District Court issued a ruling on Tkachenko's claim. He filed a lawsuit seeking a stay of the dismissal order. Two judges refused to hear the case, stating that doing so would amount to a decision without a full hearing. However, Judge Natalia Salnikova ruled in favor of the plaintiff.
It's important to note that the first decision after Tkachenko's return to office was the appointment of Artur Shablienko, who ran for parliament in 2012 as head of the Control and Audit Office (CRU) for Natalia Korolevska's "Ukraine, Forward!" party. Tkachenko himself was then Korolevska's deputy party member.
This is even more curious given that Korolevskaya, as Minister of Social Policy, effectively oversaw the social security funds. And it was during her tenure as minister (2012-2014) that these entities were implicated in a number of corruption scandals, in which Tkachenko's name was implicated.
It is also interesting that Tkachenko was fired on September 2 last year, but in fact, the dismissal occurred after he returned from sick leave, which he had been on for more than a year.
