The Ukrgazvydobuvannya case was "lost" at the examination stage.

UkrgazvydobuvannyaFor over six months, the forensic economic examination of the criminal case against former Ukrgazvydobuvannya CEO Serhiy Kostyuk and his deputy Vadym Shlenchak has been ongoing. This is according to data from the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, as reported by the publication. Our pennies.

It is known that on October 23, 2015, the court acquitted Kostyuk and Shlenchak. The prosecutor's office had demanded their conviction, as Ukrgazvydobuvannya had been short-changed by at least UAH 16,76 million. This relates to the sale of 18,21 tons of liquefied natural gas at reduced prices to VOG Trading LLC in the spring of 2014. However, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court stated that "the prosecution failed to prove the specific personal interests of the former Ukrgazvydobuvannya management, or from whom, or from whom, they received an unlawful benefit when concluding the contract with VOG Trading LLC."

On December 2, 2015, the Kyiv Court of Appeal opened an appeal based on the prosecutor's complaint. The state registry further contains information only that on January 21, 2016, the appellate court ordered a repeat forensic economic examination. The examination was entrusted to experts from the Bokarius Kharkiv Research Institute of Forensic Expertise. The experts were required to answer questions about the pricing of the liquefied gas sales under the contract, the accuracy of the State Fiscal Service's conclusions regarding the amount of damages incurred, and the availability of documentary evidence of damage to Ukrgazvydobuvannya. However, the court did not specify the duration of the examination, so the case has not progressed further, and its current status is unknown.
