For some, alcohol and driving are perfectly compatible... especially if you have a deputy's card. In this case, a deputy of the Makarovsky District Council. Matvey Yevseenko, born in 1989, while intoxicated, decided to start a fight with taxi drivers one night, fired a non-lethal weapon, and upon the arrival of National Police officers, decided to flee the scene in his Toyota Prado. Naturally, he lost control and, driving into oncoming traffic on the Okruzhnaya (Kyiv) highway, rammed a Volga with an elderly couple in it.
The scandalous accident resulted in innocent injuries: both Volga passengers ended up in intensive care, and rescue workers were reportedly forced to literally cut them out of the mangled vehicle due to the speed. According to eyewitnesses, the drunken deputy Yevseenko suffered only minor bruises, some of which were sustained while extricating the rich kid from his car: after the accident, he locked himself in the car and was only able to be extricated by breaking the window.
Volunteer Roman Sinitsyn, a member of the National Police Selection Commission, reported this in detail on Facebook, writing:
"Last night, he got drunk and got into a fight with taxi drivers. He fired a pistol. Upon arrival of the Ukrainian patrol police, he fled in a Toyota Prado AI 3000 EE, and the police gave chase. While eluding the police, Evseenko drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Volga at high speed. The family traveling in the Volga (a married couple) is in intensive care with serious injuries. Matvey is a member of the Makarovsky District Council. Evseenko, Matvey Igorevich, born March 27, 1989."
