BPP MP Yuriy Solovey accused his faction colleague of blackmail aimed at winning a 75 million hryvnia tender.
On his Facebook page, Solovey wrote that this issue was raised at yesterday's emergency meeting, where Roman Rodzonyak, a representative of PBS LLC, stated that the tender could be disrupted if his company is not awarded the R-24 road construction project. The deputy also stated that the aforementioned Rodzonyak is acting in the interests of a "well-known Ivano-Frankivsk people's deputy." The member of the pro-presidential party did not name the latter.
Most likely, this refers to Oleksandr Shevchenko, who is associated with PBS LLC. The MP also owns a portion of the Bukovel resort's assets.
It's worth noting that Solovey and Shevchenko were elected to parliament as BPP members in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast: Solovey in District 89 (centered in Snyatyn), and Shevchenko in District 83 (centered in Ivano-Frankivsk). It's also worth noting that the R-24 road is critically important for two districts of the oblast: Kosivske and Verkhovynske.
If this does happen, Solovey promised to publish incriminating evidence against Shevchenko.
