Deputies are concerned about funds for the Prosecutor General's Office's tests that have not been deposited into accounts.

GPUThe Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has not received $200 in funds allocated by the US government for the development of tests during the reform of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, the Petro Poroshenko Bloc press service reported.

There were also no documents confirming the transfer of such tests to the Prosecutor General's Office. In response, approximately fifty members of parliament signed a letter to the US Senate and Senator Robert Jones Portman. In the letter, they expressed concern about the fate of these funds and requested confirmation or denial of the information regarding the non-delivery of funds.

It's worth noting that this isn't the first scandal surrounding the Prosecutor General's Office (GPU) tests. Last summer, it was discovered that the GPU hadn't registered the rights to the tests, and Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin stated that the testing scheme could be dangerous, as many would be dissatisfied with the results. At the same time, a prosecutorial investigation was initiated against David Sakvarelidze, the architect of this reform.

It turned out that the test performers were paid unofficially, so taxes were not paid. There was also no documentation confirming the transfer of the tests to the Prosecutor General's Office. The test developers, however, received only a few thousand hryvnias out of the $200.
