The High Anti-Corruption Court has ordered the director of the Izyum Instrument-Making Plant to post bail in the amount of 2,6 million hryvnias. According to NABU detectives, Filonenko transferred funds to Optimumspetsdetal LLC under a contract dated April 26, 2016, without actually delivering the goods. In particular, 2,44 million hryvnias were transferred from the accounts of the state enterprise to Optimumspetsdetal LLC without justification.

Furthermore, the investigation established that Filonenko failed to disclose a 53,5 square meter property in his 2020 asset declaration. It was purchased on August 27 for 82,47 Bulgarian levs, which at the time amounted to 1,32 million hryvnias.

On October 25, 2022, Serhiy Filonenko was notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 368 and Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code. On October 28, the High Anti-Corruption Court ordered the suspect to post bail in the amount of UAH 2,6 million. The suspect has filed an appeal.

It's worth noting that Filonenko's son, who had lived abroad for a long time, returned to the country after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and fought in the KRAKEN special forces unit. He died near the village of Russkaya Lozovaya on May 5, 2022, from a shrapnel wound.
