Ukrainian city mayors boast multimillion-dollar incomes, expensive cars, homes, and acres of land. This year's wealth declaration campaign stunned many Ukrainians. What did Ukrainian mayors report, and who surprised them the most?

Lviv

Mayor of Lviv Andrey Sadovy He declared UAH 694 in income in 2020, received as a salary from his primary job as mayor. He owns a 660,04 square meter residential building. The family's property includes two plots of land and one leased plot, with a total area of ​​992 square meters. They are registered to his wife, Kateryna Kot-Sadova.

The family also owns two cars: a 2012 Mercedes-Benz Viano SDI 2.2 TRE/L and a 2017 Skoda Kodiaq. The Sadovs' combined annual income is 6,7 million hryvnias, down 1.6 million hryvnias from 2019.

Dnieper

Boris Filatov owns three apartments of 1300 sq. m and two residential buildings with outbuildings of 1900 sq. m. In addition, he owns four non-residential premises of 2800 sq. m and nine land plots with a total area of ​​37,2 sq. m.

However, the mayor still owns a Mercedes S600L (2012), a Jaguar XJS Convertible (1989), a Mercedes-Benz 200 (1969), a Dodge RAM (2008), a Porsche Panamera (2012), a Porsche Cayenne (2008), and a Porsche Carrera 911 (2007).

Besides his car, Filatov owns two motorcycles: a Triumph Scrambler (2006) and a Honda XR250 (1999). But that's not all. The Dnipro mayor owns two watercraft and one aircraft—a Eurocopter AS350B2 (2007).

The mayor also has no problems with his income. His family earned 12,5 million hryvnias last year, 8,7 million more than in 2019. He keeps only 144,2 hryvnias in the bank, while he keeps 1,1 million hryvnias and $1,3 million in cash.

Odessa

Cherkassy

Cherkasy Mayor Anatoliy Bondarenko also boasts a considerable income. He owns three houses, an apartment, seven plots of land, and six cars. His annual income amounted to almost 2 million hryvnias.

Sumy

Sumy Mayor Oleksandr Lysenko declares three residential and two non-residential buildings, an apartment, and two plots of land. Lysenko's fleet includes six trucks. His net worth for the year amounts to over half a million hryvnias.

Chernivtsi

Chernivtsi Mayor Roman Klychuk, in addition to six plots of land and two houses, declared an administrative building of 315 square meters, three luxury foreign cars, and 4 million hryvnia.

Kherson

Kherson Mayor Ihor Kolykhaev owns 14 plots of land, two cars, and a 168-square-meter residential building. However, his income has decreased by almost 9 million hryvnias over the past year, now standing at around 5 million.

Ivano-Frankivsk

Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv has a rather modest income. He declares an apartment, a car, and half a million hryvnias in family income. Martsinkiv maintains over a quarter of a million hryvnias and $7 in his bank account.

Khmelnitsky

The second most modest is Khmelnytskyi Mayor Oleksandr Simchyshyn. He owns a house, an apartment, a plot of land, and a car. His annual income was over 700 hryvnias.

Kropyvnytskyy

Meanwhile, Kropyvnytskyi Mayor Andriy Raikovich owns two 800-square-meter residential buildings, 16 plots of land, and 12 square meters of water-related land. Raikovich's annual income exceeds 30 million hryvnias.

Uzhhorod

Uzhhorod Mayor Bohdan Andreyev declared 23 square meters of land, two cars and apartments, a 180-square-meter house, three buildings, non-residential premises, and a store. Andreyev's income fell by a record 33 million hryvnias over the year, to 10 million.
