The interrogation of former People's Front MP Mykola Martynenko has been rescheduled for January 18. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau had originally scheduled the interrogation for January 11, but Martynenko failed to appear on that day. According to his lawyer, this was due to a meeting with the prosecutor in Bern, Switzerland. It turns out Martynenko had been summoned to Bern on January 7.

Given that the former MP's summons to Switzerland is part of the same investigation as in Ukraine, a decision was made to postpone the interrogation. The NABU also noted that if Martynenko fails to appear for a third time, he could be forcibly transported.

It's worth noting that this is the case of the Odessa Port Plant. Mikheil Saakashvili, the governor of the Odessa region, is also a witness in the case.
