The file of Ukrainian MP and head of the BPP faction, Yuriy Lutsenko, has been removed from the Ministry of Justice's unified state registry of individuals who have committed corruption crimes, RBK reports.

Previously, the dossier pointed to two corruption violations committed by the MP. These included abuse of power and official negligence on February 27 and August 17, 2012, respectively. These violations were committed by Lutsenko while serving as Minister of Internal Affairs.

In total, as of the beginning of August, there were approximately 10 thousand officials in this database.

There have been no official comments from the BPP, Lutsenko, or the Ministry of Justice on this matter yet.

It is important to note that corruption scandals have plagued Lutsenko's activities since 2006, even though he had stated a year earlier that he would actively combat corruption in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
