Mykhailo Chaplyga, a representative of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, expressed outrage on Facebook regarding the salaries received by employees of anti-corruption agencies. He cited a photograph of a document, which, he claimed, is not in the possession of the Main State Service. According to the document, Natalia Korchak (head of the National Agency for Corruption Prevention, NACP) receives a salary of 91,700 hryvnias, a figure the human rights activist believes is not the final salary.
According to Chaplyga:
"The figures in pencil represent only mandatory payments... i.e., without bonuses... which can be 100% or 200%. So, this is just the tip of the iceberg..." He's justified in making this judgment by the fact that Korchak's official salary is 36,700 hryvnias, with the remainder coming from bonuses, such as those for length of service and bonuses "for work intensity."
Other NAPC employees also claim inflated incomes: Ruslan Ryaboshapka and Oleksandr Skopich have official salaries of 28,200 hryvnias, but due to additional payments, their monthly salary reaches 68,200 hryvnias.
