History will put everything in its place. It won't be long before it becomes clear who behaved differently in this war. Who sacrificed all their strength, health, and life for the sake of victory in this war and the salvation of our country. And who, at the same time, hastily lined their pockets, looted, or, for money, discredited those who fought first.
History will judge who, in these times, worked for Ukraine and who for a hostile state. Who fought, and who was a "fifth column" hiding behind populist rhetoric and pseudo-patriotism. The "fifth column" knows a thing or two about the art of big words, and, unfortunately, it's sometimes difficult to discern whether we're dealing with a truly honest person and patriot, or an enemy, a thief, or a mercenary. But time puts everything in its place. Even now. Not long ago, the correspondence of Russian agent Maria Stolyarova revealed that it was Russian political strategists, using Russian money, who "raised" our most vocal pseudo-patriots—Sergey Kaplin (Read more: Sergey Kaplin. Levochkin's "Project," aiming for opposition leadership), Boryslav Bereza, and Dmitry Dobrodomov. Ukraine's top anti-corruption figure, Serhiy Leshchenko, was also implicated in this sordid affair.
Remarkably, all these individuals had long specialized in the methodical and dirty "wiping out" of the "People's Front." And time has already shown and proven that this wasn't done for free. And that Russia and its well-disguised agents in Ukraine were primarily interested in this "wiping out." In this war against the "People's Front," there was one now-forgotten moment of informational special operation in which the aforementioned individuals participated.
Yesterday, from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, People's Deputy Maksym Polyakov, a representative of the inter-factional association "Deputy Control" (Read more: Maxim Polyakov, like a bomb under power) recalled this story. Let's quote his speech.
Maxim Polyakov:
“Inter-faction union “Deputy Control”, faction “Popular Front”. Dear colleagues, I want to start a scandal today that happened 2 years ago. There was an enterprise “EDAPS”. When the new Ministry of Internal Affairs came, corruption schemes were exposed. In just one day, the audit showed over 400 million that were stolen by this enterprise. And then this enterprise raised over billions of hryvnias. When the new MVS government sided with this enterprise, a great discrediting campaign began. Unfortunately, our colleagues took part in this discrediting campaign, and people’s deputy Sergey Kaplin, our colleague Sergey Leshchenko, who were financed by the “IDAPS” fund.
I want to demonstrate to you the decisions of the courts, as confirmed by the first, the second and the Greater Specialized Court, that all the charges that came before Sergiy Kaplin were a lie. Moreover, the Vikon’s goiter service ordered them to get out, and is already running out of lines. Before the speech, here I am, having beaten my colleague, it would have been even more nasty, perhaps, as if he were still a Viyshov, plucking up his courage, getting himself off. I express my gratitude to the great intercessor of the Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Chebotar. Lyudina, who suffered many fates and who took the greatest part in ensuring that “ADAPS” did not steal the sovereign’s funds, was also a victim of a discredit campaign, according to Sergiy Kaplin i Sergiy Leshchenko.
As often as the criminal reports were destroyed and transferred to ADAPS, they were transferred to the Security Service of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the criminal reports were transferred. Until now, however, the long-awaited criminality on the right has not been brought to its logical conclusion.
We, “Deputy Control”, are committed to the General Prosecutor’s Office to bring to justice the officials of the company “IDAPS”, who are guilty of incurring criminal liability, which may be directly related to discrediting the MVS system as a whole, and even close relations with the Russian oligarchs are looming. Russian capital and so that pseudo-politicians do not engage in complete lies. If all the courts have already lost (and the decisions of three courts), they must go out and get out honestly. Dyakuyu."
It's worth remembering that EDAPS spared no expense in discrediting Serhiy Chebotar. Television channels and entire "journalistic" teams were hired to engage in outright provocations. "Journalist" Denis Bigus was particularly successful in this endeavor, orchestrating a provocation involving the alleged beating of a member of his television crew. And paid MPs, naturally, fueled this discrediting campaign within the parliament and in numerous interviews. Meanwhile, Serhiy Kaplin regularly published outright lies—about searches and gold bars in Chebotar's office, about his arrest abroad with a large sum of money, and other such nonsense. Television channels eagerly picked up on them, creating an atmosphere of a "major scandal in the Ministry of Internal Affairs." Which, in fact, never happened. There were also knives in the back from "their own." For example, Victoria Syumar unexpectedly supported this smear campaign, declaring that Serhiy Chebotar should resign because of this scandal. Although, "our people" come in all shapes and sizes. It's enough to recall Syumar's long-standing warm relationship with former SBU chief Valeriy Khoroshkovsky (Read more: Valeriy Khoroshkovsky: What is the Ukrainian oligarch-general hiding in his closets?), or how, under the Minister of Internal Affairs Zakharchenko, she lectured cops during the Yanukovych era.
EDAPS's partners in law enforcement also supported the smear campaign. For example, former Deputy Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Yuriy Artyukhov, and current Deputy Head of the SBU's Main Directorate "K," Vasyl Pisnyi. Incidentally, both of these law enforcement officials were interested in Chebotar's elimination not only because of EDAPS's motivations, but also because Chebotar was disrupting their long-established smuggling networks in the Lviv region. Artyukhov and Pisnyi established their criminal partnership while both were serving in the Lviv region. One headed the local SBU, the other the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Incidentally, this touching smuggling friendship continues to this day.
When the goal of the information attack was achieved, and Serhiy Chebotar resigned to avoid compromising the ministry, some thought this wasn't enough. An attempt was made to physically eliminate Serhiy Chebotar; he was poisoned. Only a miracle saved him from death, but this, naturally, did not improve his health.
According to ORD, Vasyl Hrytsak, the de facto head of EDAPS in Ukraine, is currently holding regular meetings with Artyukhov, Pisnyi, and other former security officials. The goal of these meetings is to find a way to reinstate EDAPS's corrupt schemes in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At any cost. This includes the physical elimination of their main enemies, Chebotar and Avakov. As far as ORD knows, EDAPS officials are currently actively exploring this possibility, including the routes, security, and vehicles of potential victims. There's a lot of money at stake. And for this money, people are being killed not only politically but also physically. These days, unfortunately, this isn't all that difficult. But for every action, there's a counteraction.
Someday, everything that's now invisible, happening deep beneath the waves of information noise, will become clear. The scum will get theirs, the heroes theirs. It's important that by that time, the scum hasn't managed to sell out, fragment, and destroy our country. If we all don't believe the loud and pompous speeches from the podiums and on TV screens, if we believe in actions and not words, if we think clearly and don't give in to emotions, the scum won't stand a chance. It's only just beginning!
