Eduard Kokhan, the "Servant of the People" Euroenergotrade, Levochkin and state billions
A few days ago, UP's investigation, "Monaco Battalion 2," was made public. It was full of interesting material, and even PrivatBank was alarmed, as one of its top managers was filmed strolling around Monte Carlo, according to Antikor.
But in this case, we're interested in another character in the investigation—a certain Eduard Kokhan, who barely made an appearance in the article, and then only briefly—he's only given a couple of minutes of coverage. It's also briefly mentioned that he may have ties to the gas trader Euroenergotrade LLC, which has a contract to supply 1,3 billion cubic meters of gas to Ukraine.
And he ended up in a film about Ukrainian “refugees” settling in Europe’s most expensive resort, most likely because he had the misfortune of driving his Aston Martin, with its trump card KA 1300 CT, into the parking lot of one of Monte Carlo’s most expensive hotels.

But the mention of Eduard Kokhan's name in the film "Monaco-2 Battalion" in connection with the company "EuroEnergoTrade" for some reason wildly outraged this modest fighter of the "Monaco-2" battalion, and he demanded a retraction of the information about his involvement with EuroEnergoTrade LLC, writing an angry letter to the UP.
To which smart people immediately pointed out: Mr. Kokhan was asking for trouble. It would have been better if he had kept quiet. Because his indignation, which was actually unfounded, only fueled interest. And now it wouldn't just be UP journalists who would be after him, but anyone who cared. And they were right on target.
Less than three days later, investigator Vladimir Bondarenko posted fascinating information on Facebook, confirming Eduard Kokhan's involvement not only with Euroenergotrade LLC, but also with certain strange scams related to that company, as well as connections to Mr. Levochkin, a member of Viktor Yanukovych's inner circle, and current "Servant of the People" members. It seems Eduard Kokhan has stirred up trouble that should not have been touched.
This time, Mr. Kokhan was let down by the car he uses to cruise the Côte d'Azur. It's the aforementioned white Aston Martin DB11 with the Kyiv license plate KA1300ST. In the age of information technology, finding out who owns it wasn't difficult at all. It belongs to International Gas Company LLC.

What happened next was quite simple. Although International Gas Company LLC, like Euroenergotrade LLC, was registered to front men, the details were provided. Specifically, the registered address of both companies:

Both companies are registered in Cherkasy, at the same address, in adjacent rooms. Moreover, both companies re-registered to this address within two days of each other.
Things get even more interesting. The building at 73 Svyatotroitskaya Street in Cherkasy belongs to a certain Dmitry Petrovich Taran, a modest employee of our country's tax authorities. Taran also owns a dozen other companies:

I wonder what exactly brought International Gas Company LLC and Euroenergotrade LLC to a building owned by a state tax service employee? I expect we'll find out soon, but for now, let's return to these companies.
An examination of tender documents from the Prozorro system reveals that International Gas Company LLC and Euroenergotrade LLC have a strange habit of participating in the same public gas procurement tenders, with the former consistently offering a slightly inferior option to the latter and therefore losing. Here's the first example of this oddity:

And here is the second one:

Interesting, right? It's worth recalling the first part of the investigation, which proves Eduard Kokhan's involvement with Euroenergetroid. Without it, our story would be somewhat incomplete, so we recommend reading: Who is Eduard Kokhan, associated with the largest gas trader in Ukraine, Euroenergotrade? To complete the picture. However, even without this, the chain of strange "coincidences" involving Aston Martin, tenders, and the registration locations of both companies leads us to believe that Eduard Kokhan is involved with Energotrade.
But that's not all. Surely he's not the only one managing the billion-dollar contracts that, by some strange coincidence, go to Euroenergotrade LLC? The contract for the supply of 1,3 billion cubic meters of gas alone is valued at $1.5 billion. Everyone understands that such contracts aren't won from the state for nothing.
Indeed. Mr. Kokhan, who, as he himself claims, does not have a Ukrainian passport, is being assisted by good people. Among them is Maksym Yevgeniyovych Dyrdin, a member of parliament from the Servant of the People party. He represented EuroEnergoTrade's interests in court as a lawyer.

One might believe that everything ended with legal assistance, if Mr. Dyrdina’s wife, Irina Vladimirovna Dyrdina, had not represented the interests of Ms. Yulia Levochkina at the Clearing House bank.
In addition, Irina Dyrdina at one time headed the law firm “Puzanov and Partners” (now “Si.Ti.Ar”), which was founded by MP Oleksandr Puzanov, a friend and confidant Sergei Levochkin:

And the daughter of the current Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin, Anastasia, is an assistant to Dyrdina's husband, MP Maksim Dyrdin, who was deputy director of the law firm Puzanov and Partners.
This is the complicated and simple story of "servants of the people," prosecutors, pro-Russian politicians, and Eduard Kokhan, who appeared out of nowhere at the very top of Ukrainian gas contracts, and about whom no one really knows anything.
