Former AMCU head Terentyev joined the supervisory board of Ukreximbank.

On March 4, 2021, the former head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine took office as a member of the supervisory board of Ukreximbank, reports finbalance.

Terentyev serves on the Supervisory Board as the state representative from the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy.

"As noted, on March 3, the NBU approved the appointment of Yu. Terentyev to the said position.

Yu. Terentyev was appointed to the position by order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 16, 2020.

In accordance with Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On Banks and Banking Activities”, the term of office of members of the supervisory board of a state bank is three years.

From 2015 to 2020, Yu. Terentyev was the Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

According to the Law on Banks and Banking Activities, the state bank's supervisory board consists of nine members, six of whom are independent and three are state representatives, the publication writes.
