Former head of the state joint-stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine, Oleg Dubina, won a lawsuit against the country for 22,7 million hryvnias in financial assistance.

According to Ekonomichna Pravda, the former head of the Naftogaz of Ukraine, Oleg Dubina, won a lawsuit against Naftogaz of Ukraine for 22,7 million hryvnias.
In June 2014, Oleh Dubina filed a lawsuit in the Shevchenkivskyi Court of Kyiv seeking to recover unpaid wages from Naftogaz. On July 25, the court partially granted the lawsuit. The Court of Appeal later upheld this decision.
As it became known, in June of this year, Oleh Dubina filed a lawsuit against Naftogaz for the recovery of wages. The court found that the employment contract signed in 2008 between Dubina and the Ministry of Fuel and Energy fully complies with civil law. This contract stipulates that the head of NAK Naftobaz should be paid a 1% bonus "for the effective management of state property" — a portion of the company's profits. According to the financial results report for 2009, NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine's net profit amounted to UAH 2,267 billion.
The court ordered that NAK Naftogaz pay Oleg Dubyna UAH 22,678 million in financial assistance for the effective management of state property in 2009.
As a reminder, Oleh Dubyna headed Naftogaz Ukrainy from December 2007 to March 2010 (under a quota from the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc). He resigned voluntarily on the eve of the Tymoshenko government's resignation.
