The Central Office for Servicing Large Payers won a lawsuit against the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company (NAEC) Energoatom. According to the lawsuit, Energoatom must pay UAH 4,239 billion.
The decision was made by the Kyiv District Administrative Court on September 16 and is currently available in the Unified Register of Court Decisions.
According to the lawsuit, Energoatom owes the budget the aforementioned 4,239 billion hryvnias. Under Ukrainian law, state-owned enterprises are required to pay between 15% and 30% of their net profits to the budget.
At the same time, the energy company stated that the claims were unfounded, since the payment of a portion of the net profit is not a tax payment.
