European media are reporting on Martynenko's corrupt dealings.

In Austria, a criminal investigation has been opened into the dealings of People's Front MP Mykola Martynenko. BPP MP Serhiy Leshchenko wrote this on Facebook.

According to him, European media outlets, including Sueddeutsche Zeitung, are already reporting on deals involving titanium and uranium intermediary firms. Leshchenko also notes that Ukrainian Prime Minister and faction leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk may soon respond with accusations against the publication.

The article concerns an investigation by the publication Kurier, which detailed Martynenko's corruption schemes. Specifically, it covered the import of uranium from Kazakhstan and the export of titanium to Russia. On November 30, Martynenko publicly announced his resignation as a member of parliament, after which criminal proceedings were initiated against him.

For his part, businessman and politician David Zhvania has already called Martynenko Yatsenyuk's "wallet." Previously, the entire Batkivshchyna party signed a petition demanding Martynenko's resignation, and MP Oleh Barna of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc is collecting signatures for Yatsenyuk's resignation.
