founder of Aval Bank Fedor Spieg and former Party of Regions member Nestor Shufrych officially own the most expensive cars among the 25 richest Ukrainians, according to LigaBusinessInform.
The publication notes that the wealthiest Ukrainians are worth approximately $20,9 billion. However, not every one of them officially owns expensive vehicles. A study conducted by the online publication revealed that Ukrainian oligarchs and politicians don't bother registering their cars with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Two 2012 Mercedes-Benz cars are registered to Aval Bank founder Fyodor Shpig. The combined value of these cars is currently approximately $250. Fyodor Shpig is known as the founder of Aval Bank. In 2005, the financial institution was sold to Raiffeisen International for a then-record $1,028 billion.
Former Party of Regions member Nestor Shufrych is officially registered to two vehicles: a Mercedes-Benz G 350 (2013) and a Toyota 4Runner (2012). The total value of Shufrych's vehicles is $115,000.
Andrey Verevsky, owner of the agro-industrial company Kernel, officially owns a 2014 Range Rover SUV. The SUV costs approximately $50.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened free access to the vehicle registry on December 15, 2015.
