The Deposit Guarantee Fund plans to sell the assets of nine bankrupt banks.

bankThis week, the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals (DGF) plans to sell the assets of nine banks that have been deemed insolvent.

The deal is expected to generate nearly 1,7 billion hryvnias. The list of liquid banks includes Mercury Bank, Forum, Kreditprombank, Intercreditbank, and Porto Franco.

In addition, there are a number of banking institutions that sell not only assets but also loan claims. These include Eurogasbank, Melior Bank, and Golden Gate Bank.

Overall, since the beginning of the year, the budget has received more than 775 million hryvnias from the sale of assets and property of insolvent commercial banks.
