The owner of Group DF doubted the prospects of "Strong Ukraine".

Businessman Dmytro Firtash denies that Serhiy Tihipko's Strong Ukraine party is his political project.

"Tigipko is not my project. And I have no political projects. Who do I consider 'my man'? Yes, there are people I work with or communicate with, but that doesn't mean they're on the list for that very reason," he said in an interview with LB.ua, answering a question about why Tihipko's list includes many people from the Federation of Employers, which Firtash heads.

He added that he wasn't confident that Strong Ukraine would get into the Rada. "Until the Opposition Bloc emerged, the chances were very high. But now, there are questions. Why? Because the halftones are starting to fade, and instead, colors are emerging," Firtash said. He declined to assess the Opposition Bloc's prospects. "How can I say who will get in and who won't? It's his [Boyko's] right to try. He believes in what he's doing, so let him do it," the businessman said.

As a reminder, LB.ua estimates that there are at least three Firtash associates in Strong Ukraine: former basketball player Oleksandr Volkov, former Party of Regions member Gennady Fedoryak, and deputy head of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Oleksiy Miroshnichenko.
