Yesterday, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, headed by businessman Dmytro Firtash, announced that on February 5, it would issue an ultimatum to the government and parliamentary majority demanding personal responsibility from the country's leaders and parliamentary faction leaders for the real state of the Ukrainian economy. It stated that 19 business associations, representing 17 enterprises and employing over 2,5 million people, were forced to issue an ultimatum to the government and parliamentary faction leaders. The FUE also stated that the government's actions are unprofessional and are the main reason for the deteriorating economy. It also reported that 150 people have been left unemployed as a result of the fighting in eastern Ukraine, and unless changes are made in the near future, approximately 900 more people across Ukraine will be left without work.

As a reminder, media reports previously indicated that Nadra Bank would be placed under temporary administration due to problems the financial institution has encountered. Therefore, if the National Bank of Ukraine makes this decision, Dmytro Firtash will lose control of the bank. Nadra Bank is known to provide working capital to Firtash's Ostchem and Group DF companies.

Experts believe that since some of the businessman's assets are pledged as collateral for Nadra Bank's loan obligations, the appointment of a temporary administrator at the financial institution would mean transferring control over Dmitry Firtash's Ukrainian chemical enterprises to another person.
