On October 29, 2015, a former associate and confidant of Viktor Yanukovych, Oleksandr Dubovik, was appointed the new acting general director of the Krasnolimanskaya mine.
The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry issued the order yesterday. It is known that Oleksandr Dubovik was born in 1960 and has a higher education. In 2010, he ran for deputy of the Luhansk Regional Council on the Party of Regions list. During the 2010 presidential election, he served as Viktor Yanukovych's authorized representative for constituency No. 109 (Perevalsk district of the Luhansk region and the city of Krasny Luch).
Previously, Alexander Dubovik headed the state-owned enterprise Donbasantratsit and was suspected by the prosecutor's office of abuse of office.
As a reminder, Dubovik was appointed CEO of the Krasnolimanskaya mine following the dismissal of the company's former director, Vitaly Zyusko. Zyusko is suspected of attempting to illegally gain control of the enterprise and embezzlement of public funds.
