On December 18, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine placed a tender for routers and IP telephones worth 1,78 million hryvnias. The contractor was AMI LLC, according to the State Procurement Bulletin.
Under the contract, the State Fiscal Service will receive six ISR +4331 See bundle routers with a SEC license, each with an annual warranty, at a price of 179,000 hryvnias. Cisco Unified SIP Phone 3905 and Unified SIP Phone 8861 telephones will also be purchased. Their prices are set at 2504-3157 hryvnias and 16,000 hryvnias, respectively.
However, only the last item matches market prices. SIP Phone 3905 can be found on the market for 639-2457 hryvnias, while routers range from 85,000-113,000 hryvnias, albeit with a three-month warranty. It's important to note that AMI was previously registered in Donetsk, but after its capture by militants, it relocated to Mariupol.
In 2011-2012, AMI was founded by Anatoly Nozik, a partner of Ilya Nekhaev and son-in-law of former Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko. After Zakharchenko fled Ukraine, the firm was re-registered several times. It is currently headed by Vladislav Maslo and owned by Mikhail Breiman and the Lithuanian-based company Financial and Engineering Consulting, run by Russians Igor Turov and Olga Lobanova. Incidentally, Breiman founded AMI in 2003 together with Alexander Bilan, Elena Glushenkov, Georgy Tkachev, and Konstantin Partnov.
