The management of the United Mining and Chemical Company (UMCC) claims pressure from the Prosecutor General's Office and believes that this is being done to discredit the company.
This concerns information circulated in the media that OGKhK does not have a permit to mine titanium raw materials. The company claimed this was a far-fetched pretext, but provided no evidence to support this claim.
Also, according to Ruslan Zhurilo, CEO of OGKhK, an investigation has been launched, during which the company's office has been authorized to be searched and telephones tapped. Zhurilo himself believes this is an attempt to force him to resign as head of the company.
Furthermore, the company is suspected of illegally mining the Malyshevskoye and Mezhdurechenskoye deposits. However, the company's press service denies the accusations and claims that it did indeed work at these deposits in 2014, but that everything was done within the law.
The press service also stated that the company has no tax arrears and declares all income.
