As it turns out, Elena Tishchenko, head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Department for the Recovery of Stolen Assets, is indeed very knowledgeable about the specifics of her work. If the return of funds to the state were to begin, for example, from foreign accounts, Tishchenko herself should be at the top of the list. Former Yanukovych advisor Andriy Portnov wrote about this on his Facebook page.
According to Portnov, the head of the relevant department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs turned out to be the owner of houses in England and France (one of which is worth approximately $10 million), accounts in European banks, and even her own offshore company.
