The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered film studio chief engineer Dovzhenko to post bail in the amount of 620 hryvnias.

In December 2018, the director of the A. Dovzhenko Film Studio, following a tender, signed a contract with M.I.K. LLC for the supply of film equipment worth UAH 24,9 million.

Moreover, as stated in the investigation materials, the film studio's chief engineer, even before the auction, entered into a criminal conspiracy with the director of the company OOO M.I.K. for the purpose of embezzling budget funds.

In order to implement the plans made prior to the announcement of the procurement, the chief engineer excluded provisions providing for the application of financial and economic sanctions from the draft of the relevant procurement agreement.

On December 27, 2018, knowing full well that the equipment had not actually been delivered by the contractor, the suspect signed invoice No. 1383, previously prepared by the M.I.K. LLC customer service manager, confirming the full delivery of the equipment specified in the Agreement. Based on this document, the company received 24,92 million hryvnias.

Subsequently, by April 2019, the contractor partially transferred equipment to the State Enterprise "O. Dovzhenko Film Studio" as specified in the contract. The value of the equipment not delivered amounted to 4,415 million hryvnias.

On September 30, 2022, the film studio's chief engineer was notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense.

On October 13, an investigating judge at the High Anti-Corruption Court ordered the suspect to be held on bail in the amount of 250 subsistence minimums, or 620 hryvnias.

It should be noted that Maxim Konstantinovich Minchuk was the director of M.I.K. LLC at the time the agreement was signed. Subsequently, on January 29, 2021, Konstantin Gennadievich Minchuk became the company's director.
