"Word and deed" continues to monitor how President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team are fulfilling their promises. Over the past year and ten months, the heads of the Office of the President of Ukraine have fulfilled 68 commitments, failed to fulfill 35, and are currently in the process of fulfilling 64.

The only promise fulfilled by Ihor Zhovkva was to officially invite US President Joe Biden to Ukraine. In early March, it was announced that Biden had been invited to Ukraine to participate in the inaugural summit of the Crimean Platform and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. It is still unknown whether the American president accepted the invitation.
Andrei Smirnov failed to fulfill one promise: in October 2019, he promised to create a working group to address issues related to the deportation of Crimean Tatars. However, the Office of the President has not created such a working group since then.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko promised that all emergency rooms that were left unfinished last year would be renovated by March 2021. In early March, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that 83 emergency rooms had been renovated, and all 210 were scheduled to be completed in the first half of the year. So, Tymoshenko failed to fulfill her promise.
Tymoshenko also promised to complete the Darnitsky Bridge in Kyiv and repair the Kramatorsk-Mariupol road by 2021, and to complete repairs to the Dnipro-Odesa road by June.
Zhovkva promised to facilitate a phone call between Zelenskyy and Biden: "Of course, such a conversation will take place. I wouldn't overdramatize it—I wouldn't count the days, minutes, or hours. It will happen, just as there will be a mutual exchange of visits." It's worth noting that the US Embassy recently stated that Biden would definitely call the Ukrainian president, but at a later date.
